In the summer of 2019 I got the opportunity to intern as a UX Designer at Google with the Apps EDU team. I worked on upcoming products and tools inside of Google Classroom and Course Kit.
Some of my contributions:
- Collaborated with PMs, designers, researchers, and engineers to envision, design, and create tools for the future of Google Classroom and Course Kit. I explored the current learning space and focused on finding innovative ways to enhance the Classroom and Course Kit experience.
- Gathered contextual research on competitors by conducting usability testings on their products and speaking to researchers with knowledge on the products. I also read and analyzed past user reports to understand user behaviors and patterns.
- Explored different solutions through sketching and brainstorming, and then proceeded to creating user flows, concept sketches and high-level mocks that I delivered to my team.
